Why is the logo placed at the bottom instead of at the top?
While logos typically serve as brand identifiers at the top of a website, I follow my own logic here. As you know, this is my personal website, so the logo now serves as a signature “signing off” on the content of each page.
Is there an about page?

Fair enough, it does. I’m not comfortable with LinkedIn’s setup and its data privacy policies. While I keep some connections there, I prioritize owned media and personal contact. As for a CV: I consider that a personal asset, not a public document. If you want to discuss skills & knowledge, contact me or visit communics.nl.
